How the Dubai Marketing Index will turn responses into evidence.
The collection, verification, analysis, limitation, and update rules behind Marketing Dubai research and benchmark publication.
Judge the strength of a finding before using it in a budget, proposal, or strategy.
Research questions
The Index examines how Dubai businesses plan budgets, select channels, produce content, manage partners, and connect marketing to business outcomes. Questions are designed around decisions rather than publicity claims.
Who can participate
Owners, founders, finance leaders, marketing leaders, and people with direct knowledge of a Dubai business’s marketing arrangements may respond. The role and company context are collected so unsuitable or duplicate submissions can be reviewed.
Collection and consent
Responses are collected through the research form with timestamped consent. Identifying fields are separated from analysis fields. Company names are not published without explicit permission. Respondents can request withdrawal before a dataset is irreversibly aggregated.
Verification states
Records move through pending, reviewed, verified, excluded, or withdrawn states. Public findings may use verified records only. Verification can include consistency checks, duplicate review, source checks, respondent follow-up, and documented exclusion reasons.
Analysis and suppression
Every published table will state its sample, period, unit, relevant industry, calculation, and missing-data treatment. Small groups may be combined or suppressed to protect respondents and avoid unstable comparisons.
Limitations
Participation is voluntary and may not represent every Dubai business. Self-reported figures can contain recall or classification error. Industry, business size, maturity, and marketing model affect comparability. Each release will state the limits that apply.
Updates and corrections
Datasets carry a last-updated date and version note. Material changes are recorded through the corrections process; earlier conclusions are not silently overwritten.
